For jobs in which document groups of diff erent sizes are collected – sometimes one document, sometimes nine documents – the system automatically adjusts to the most time-consuming work step: The subsequent module waits until the predecessor module has completed all tasks and only then continues to process the document set at maximum speed. With the ultimate flexibility due to the modular design, the requirements of increasingly complex applications as well as the multitude of applications can be perfectly met. In particular, the multi-channel system from Müller, which is freely configurable from 2 to 15 stations, enables this unique flexibility. This allows multi-channel applications with reading and enclosures to be produced in any order. Whether as a cut-sheet or from the web, with or without reading, un- or prefolded enclosures – almost anything is possible. A quick switch between cut-sheet and continuous processing is easy with this system. Single-sheet and continuous feed channel can be integrated into the system at the same time – so the transition from one type of processing to the other is done in no time at all. This advantage can also be used as a twochannel solution by integrating two feed channels for so-called matching.
