All Kern AG employees make an important contribution to the company’s success. Kern AG promotes the further education and development of its employees, and actively mentors professional trainees.

Apprenticeship at Kern AG

Kern AG trains apprentices in the following professions: Automation technicians, ICT specialists, commercial clerks, design engineers and logisticians, all with an EFZ qualification (Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence).

As an SME in the industrial sector, Kern AG offers an all-round education; that is, as well as encouraging professional competence, specific promotion of methodological and social competence also plays a significant role. The goal is, at the end of the apprenticeship, to have trained young, competent, and dedicated professionals; both for their own career growth, as well as in terms of economic contribution.

“The job is varied and diverse. Because you work in different departments, it never gets monotonous, and you learn a lot.”
